Next run I will pay attention and also remove the insert to see if it is an issue. I am not sure if it is the insole maybe rising with my foot and back down and the pop is the small air bubble OR if its the carbon plate inside.
My only issue is that there is an audible pop sound I noticed on a few runs. Ive done slow runs and fast runs and hill runs. FOR ME, it fits the bill of comfort and stability.
It is comfortable and painless and havent had any issues except for maybe some blisters which I never had from previous shoes but thats another issue. I figured, maybe the Razor Excess 2 could help with relieving some pressure by adding a little more rigidity and it appears to do so. I have an arthritic issue on my right toe where i cannot bear any weight on my R toe w/o pain and need something rigid yet flexible and accommodating.
